\huge\mathfrak\pink{Solution:-}

Given that :-

a² + b² = 3 ...........(i)eq.

a - b = 5 .............(ii)eq.

a = 5 + b

Now putting the value of (a) on (i)eq.

a² + b² = 3

(5 + b)² + b² = 3

\boxed{\boxed{\boxed{\red{ ({a + b})^{2} = {a}^{2} + 2ab + {b}^{2} } }}}

25 + 10b + b² + b² = 3

25 - 3 + 10b + 2b² = 0

22 + 10b + 2b² = 0

taking 2 as a common ,

2 ( 11 + 5b + b²) = 0

b² + 5b + 11 = 0

We can't factories it,
