Perimeter of a square board = 320 cm
Each side = 320/4 = 80 cm
So, area = side x side
= 80cm x 80cm
= 6400 cm square
HOPE it helps...!!!

Answer:

Area \: of \: the \: carrom\: board (A) = 6400\: cm^{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

Let length of a edge of the carrom board = a cm

perimeter of a square (P)=320 cm

( given )

=> 4a = 320 cm

\implies a = \frac{320}{4}

\implies a = 80 \:cm

 Area \: of \: the \: board \\A= a^{2}\\= \left(80\: cm\right)^{2}\\=6400 \: cm^{2}

Therefore,

Area \: of \: the \: carrom\: board (A) = 6400\: cm^{2}
