Answer:

Perimeter of square =320cm. = 320 c m . side=80cm. s i d e = 80 c m .

Explanation:

Perimeter of a square board = 320 cm

Each side = 320/4 = 80 cm

So, area = side x side

= 80cm x 80cm

= 6400 cm square

HOPE it helps...!!!

Given:

A square carrom board with a perimeter of 360 cm

To Find:

The area od the board

Solution:

The area of the carrom board is 8100 cm².

Since the carrom board is in square shape,

⇒ All the sides are equal in length

Let the length of each side be y cm.

The perimeter of a shape is the total distance around the shape.

So the perimeter of the board = y + y + y + y

= 4y

According to the question,

Perimeter = 360 cm

or 4y = 360

or y = 360 / 4

= 90 cm

The area of a square = side²

Thus the area of the carrom board = y²

= 90²

= 8100 cm²
