side of square = (6√2)/2=6cm

then area of square = 6²=36 cm

In second square

area of this square = 2( area of first square) cm

area of this area = 2(36) cm

=72 cm²

then the side of square = √area

= √72 cm

= 6√2 cm

the diagonal of square = side ×√2

= 6√2 ×√2

= 6×(√2×√2)

= 6×2

= 12 cm
