A square field has each side 70m whereas a rectangular field has length =50m and breath=40m. Which of the two fields has greater perimeter and by how much?​

perimeter=70×4=280m

perimeter=50+50+40+40

100+80=180m

SO

SIDE=70 m

=70m×4

=280m

THE FORMULA OF THE PERIMETER OF A RECTANGLE IS 2(length + breadth)

SO

L=50m

B=40m

=2(50+40)

=2×90

=180m

280 is bigger than 180

SO

(280-180)m

=100m

SO

ANS- THE LENGTH OF THE SQUARE IS GREATER BY 100m
