Given :

The side of the square field = 48 meters

The radius of pond at the center of square field = r = 7 meters

To Find :

The Area of the field

Solution :

∵ The side of the square field = 48 m

So, Area of the square field = side × side

Or,                                     A_1 = 48 m × 48

Or,                                      A_1 = 2304 m²

Again

∵ The radius of pond at the center of square field = r = 7 meters

So, Area of pond = A_2 = π × radius²

                                    = π × r²

                                    = 3.14 × (7 m)²

                                    = 154 m²

So,

Area of the field = Area of the square field -  Area of pond

                            =  A_1 -  A_2

                            =  2304 m² -  154 m²

                            = 2150 m²

Hence, The Area of the field is 2150 m² . Answer
