a square garden with a side of 100m has a square swimming pool in the centre with a side of length 28m.calculate the area of the pool and the area of the garden around the pool.

here's ur answer...

given:-

length of the side of square garden=100m

therefore area of the square garden=side²

=100×100

=10000m²

length of the side of the swimming pool=28m

area of the swimming pool=side²

=28×28

=784m²

hence, the area of the swimming pool is 784m²

the swimming is in the centre of the garden so the area of the garden around the pool=10000-784

=9216m²

area of garden around the pool is 9216m².
