for calculating the perimeter of the square we have to calculate the length of one side of the given square.

Let,the length of the one side of the square is = x metre ( x = variable)

So,the area of the square = x² m²

Now, comparing the value of area that we have calculated and the value of the area given in the question,we get the following mathematical equation.

x² = 285.61

x = 16.8

So,the length of the square = 16.8 metre

The perimeter of the square = (16.8×4) = 67.2 metre

Hence,the perimeter of the given square is 67.2 metres.
