A square inscribed in a circle of radius 14cm .calculate the area pf the circle except the square portion

For square,

Diagonal(d)=14 cm

So,

Area(A1)=1/2*d*d

=1/2*14*14

=98 cm squared

Again,

For circle,

Radius(r)=14 cm

So,

Area(A2)=pie*r*r

=22/7*14*14

=616 cm squared

Now,

Area of the circle except the square portion(A)=A2-A1

=616-98

=518 cm squared
