A square whose side is 14cm, is circumscribing a circle. Find the area of square not included in the circle.

Solútion :-

~Area of shaded region

= Area of square - Area of circle

_____________________________

~Area of square = s x s

= 14 x 14

= 196cm^2

~Area of circle = πr^2

  • D = 14cm
  • r = 14/2 = 7

= 22/7 x 7 x 7

= 22 x 7

= 154cm^2

____________________________

~Area of shaded region

= 196 - 154
