A square is shown in figure. Completely shaded portion occupies 1/4 th of the space. What fraction of space is occupied by the region shaded with lines? ​

see it's very simple if we minus the one fourth shaded part then its 3 by 4 now the shaded with lines part is half of the unshaded part so you simply double the denominator or half your fraction
