area of path = (x + 5)^-x^ = 165
x^+10x +25 -x^ = 165
10x = 140
x= 14
area of lawn = 196 m^

Let the side of square lawn be x m
So the side of path would be x+2.5+2.5m = x+5 m
Area of path = Area of Lawn with path- Area of lawn
165 = (x+5)^2 - x^2
165 = x^2 + 10x + 25 - x^2
165-25=10x
10x=140
x=14m
So side of square lawn is 14m
So its area is 14×14= 196m square
