A square measuring 30 multiply 30 is taken out of a square measuring 60 multiply 60 metre find the parameter and area of the left over portion.​

The old square has side = 60m

The square removed has a side 30m

New perimeter will be = 60+60+30+30+30+30

therefore

New perimeter = 240m

Area of new square will be = (Area of old - Aea of removed)

= 60×60 - 30×30

= 2700m²

Perimeter= 30x30+30x30+60x60+60x60=9000

Area=30x30x60x60=3240000
