We have,
Side of square = 30 cm
So, length of frame = perimeter of square

Therefor,
Perimeter of square = 4a
Perimeter of square = 4×30
Perimeter of square = 120 cm

Since,
100cm = 1m
So,
1cm = 1/100 m
therefore,
120cm = 1/100 × 120 m
= 1.2 m

So, length of frame needed will be equal to 120cm or 1.2 m
Hope it may help you

length of frame = perimeter of square mirror

perimeter of square = 4 × side

                                  = 4 × 30

                                  =120 cm

length of frame in metres = 120/100

                                         = 1.2 m

length of frame in cm =120 cm
