Answer:

760 sq.cm.

Step-by-step explanation:

Side of square board =50 cm.

Area of square board = Side^2 = 50^2 = 2500 cm^2

Board has seven notices of dimension 12 cm× 10 cm

Area of 1 notice = 12 \times 10 = 120 cm^2

Area of 7 notice = 120 \times 7 cm^2=840 cm^2

Board has nine painting on square sheet of side 10 cm.

Area of 1 painting = side^2 = 10^2 = 100 cm^2

Area of 9 painting = 100 \times 9 = 900 cm^2

Total area used by 7 notices and 9 paintings on board = 840+900=1740 sq.cm.

The area left uncovered on the notice board = 2500-1740 = 760 sq.cm.

Hence The area left uncovered on the notice board  is 760 sq.cm.
