A square of side 25 cm is divided into nsquare equal small squares. If circles are drawn in each of these small squares touching all the sides, then find the area of the given square not covered by these circles

First always think easy. If there was only one square then the circle inside will have radius as 25/2 and then area of square not covered by circle will be = Area of square - area of circle. Now you have to think about n equal square, if there are n equal squares there can be 4 raised to n. Now if we draw a circle inside any one of these sqaures, the radius will come out to be 25/(4raised to n/2) x(2) and there will be 4raised to n circles. Now substituting in general equation. Area of square - area of n circles is . I hope this is correct
