Perimeter of square=4*side=4*40=160m

Perimeter of rectangle=same as per of sq=160m

Breadth of rectangle =x

=2(45+x)=160

=90+x=160

x=70m

Breadth of rect=70m

Area of square=side*side=40*40=1600m^2

Area of rect.=length*breadth=45*70=3150m^2

So rectangle has larger area
