Required area = Area of the circle -Area of the square
Diagonal of the square = Diameter of the circle
⇒Radius of the circle= (√2s)/2
⇒r=2✓2 cm
Therefore, required area = (22/7)(8)-16
=(176/7)-16
=25.14-16
=9.14 cm²

sumak: can i know that how was the no. 8 came
lohithanaidu: 2✓2 whole square is 8
sumak: okay
sumak: but how the radius was found
sumak: by pythagoras ?
lohithanaidu: Yes
