Question : A square park has each side of 100m. At each corner of the park, there is a flowers garden in the form of quadrant of radius 14m as shown in fig. Find the area of the remaining part of the park

Solution :

Theoretically Given, a square park has each side of 100m. At each corner of the park, there is a flowers garden in the form of quadrant of radius 14m.

So, We have , Area of Four 4 Quadrant of a Circle with radius 14 metres

Then, Area of Four Quadrant of circle = 4 × 1/4πr²

= πr²

= 22 / 7 × 14 × 14 m²

= 22 × 2 × 14 m²

= 44 × 14 m²

= 616 m²

Therefore, Area of Area of Four Quadrant of circle with radius is 616 m² .

Now, We have to find the area of Square,

Area of Square = Side²

Area of Square = ( 100 ) × (100) m²

Area of Square = 10,000 m²

Now, According to the Question!

Area of Remaining part = Area of Square - Area of Area of Four Quadrant of circle

= 10,000 m² - 616 m²

= 9,384 m²

Hence, Required the area of the remaining part of the park is 9384m².
