a square piece of cloth of size 25 M is cut into rectangular strips of 50 cm wide find the number of strips and their total length in metre

number of strips which are equal to side of square cloth / width of the strip.

and for this we can create an equation which will look like this:

n=s/w

we will expand this equation:

n= 2500/50

= 50

So that means the length of the strip is around 25 m.
