Side =12 cm So 2 pie r = 12 cm 2 pie r =12 Pie r = 6 cm r= 6 ×7÷22 r = 21/11 CSA of cylinder = 2 pie rh 2 pie rh =2×22/7 ×21/11×12 = 144 cm ^2

Here is your answer


if a square piece of paper will be rolled to form a cylinder then,
Area of the paper = CSA of the cylinder

So as given in the question,
side of the square paper = 10cm
So area of the square pape
= (side)²
= (10)² cm²
= 100 cm²

Hence the CSA of the cylinder is 100cm²
