Solution :

As we know , it is a square plate .

$\implies\sf{length \: = breadth \: = x \: cm \: }$

So now we will see the volume of plate

$\implies\sf{volume \: = length \times breadth \times height}$

Height is given = 8mm = 0.8 cm .

$\implies\sf{2880 = x {}^{2} \times 0.8 }$

$\implies\sf{x {}^{2} = \frac{2880}{0.8} = 3600 }$

$\implies\sf{x = 60cm.}$

Hence the value of x is 60 cm .
