A square plate of side x cm is 8mm thick. If it's volume is 2880cm cube, find the value of x.

Solution :

As we know , it is a square plate .

\implies\sf{length \:  = breadth \:  = x \: cm \: }

So now we will see the volume of plate

\implies\sf{volume \:  = length \times breadth \times height}

Height is given = 8mm = 0.8 cm .

\implies\sf{2880  = x {}^{2} \times 0.8 }

\implies\sf{x {}^{2}  =  \frac{2880}{0.8} = 3600 }

\implies\sf{x = 60cm.}

Hence the value of x is 60 cm .
