Answer:

Side of square plot = 240 / 4 = 60m

Area. of square lot = 60×60= 3600 square meter

No of identical slabs= 200

Area of one slab = 3600 / 200 = 18 square metre

Given

  • A square plot has a perimeter of 240 m. To cover the entire area of the plot, 200 identical rectangular slabs were used.

We Find

  • Area of each slab

We used

Formula used :-

Perimeter of Square = 4 × Side ( To Find side of square)

= 240 = 4 × Side

= Side = 240/4

= Side = 60

So, side of given square is 60 m

According to the question

Area of Square = Side²

Area of Square = 60²

Area of Square = 60 × 60

Area of Square = 3600 m²

We Find the Area of each slab

Area of each slab = Area of Square / Quantity of Slab

Area of each slab = 3600 / 200

Area of each slab = 18 m

Hence, Area of each slab is 18 m
