a square plot is of side 40m. a path of uniform breadth 4m Run round it inside the plot. find the cost of covering the path with bricks at ₹2 per square metre and also the cost of putting grass on the remaining portion of plot at the rate of ₹1.25 per square metre​

So, the area of the whole plot =(40×40)m²

=576m²

Cost of covering the run around with brick

=Rs 2 per m²

So, rhe cost of covering the whole run around

=Rs(576×2)

=Rs 1152

Now, the cost of covering the ground with grass=Rs1.25 per m²

So, cost of covering the whole ground with grass=Rs(1024×1.25)

=Rs 1280
