A square plot of land has an area of 27.04 square metres . What is the total length of wire needed to fence around the plot using three strands of wire ?

area \: of \: square \: plot \:  = 27.04 \\  {side}^{2}  = 27.04   \\ side \:  =  \sqrt{27.04}  \\ side \:  = 5.2 \: m \\ so \: wire used \:  = 3 \times perimeter \: of \: square \\  = 3 \times 4 \times side \\  = 12 \times 5.2 \\ 62.4m

Perimeter of square= 4s
