A square room contains 500 m' of air. If the cost of
painting its four walls at Rs. 8 per m’ be Rs. 1600. Find
the height of the room.​

cost of painting four walls is Rs 1600

For 1 sq mtr painting is Rs 8 So for 4 walls to be painted = 1600/8 = 200 m^2

Volume of room = volume of walls

500 m^3 = axh

500 200 xh

h = 500/200 = 5/2

h = 2.5 m
