GIVEN :-

Rectangular slabs of slides 60cm and 42cm.

TO FIND :-

Calculate the least possible area of the room in square metres.

SOLUTION :-

1st Find the L.C.M of 60 & 42.

So,

LCM = 2 × 2 × 3 × 5 × 7

= 420 Cm.

420/100 m = 4.2 m.

So,

The Length of the Square Room is 4.2 m.

It's Area is L × L

= 4.2 × 4.2

= 17.64 Cm².
