so,,, 12m = 12*100cm

= 1200cm

area of square floor = side × side

= 1200*1200

=1440000 cm^2

area of square tile= side × side

= 50*50

= 2500

total no. of tiles

area of floor / area of tile

1440000/ 2500

576 tiles are required to pave the floor
