SOLUTION :

GIVEN : Perimeter of a square sheet of paper = 40cm

Perimeter of a square = 4 × side

40 = 4 × side

Side = 40/4

Side = 10 cm

Length of Side of a square sheet of paper =10 cm

Area of the square = side × side

Area of the square = 10 × 10 = 100 cm²

Area of the square = 100 cm²

Hence,the length of Side of a square sheet of paper is 10 cm the area of the square sheet is 100 cm²
