Answer:

• perimeter of square = 4× side

= 4×60

= 240cm

• perimeter of rectangle = 2(L+B)

= 2(60+80)

= 2(140)

= 280cm

• perimeter of rectangle is more 280cm

• 40cm much

Answer:

Perimeter of sqaure = Perimeter of rectangal

4×side=2(l+b)

4×60/2=l+b

120=80+b

b = 120-80=40

Breath =40

then Area of square =a×a

Area of sqaure=60×60=3600cm,

Area of rectangle=l×b

Area of rect. =80×40

=3200cm×cm

Greater area - Smaller area=3600 - 3200=400cm×cm

Area of sqaure is greater than area of rectangle by 400cm×cm
