A squirrel family collected 172 nuts to store for the winter. They spread the nuts out evenly among their 6 favourite spots. The squirrels ate the last few nuts that didn't divide evenly . Sadly, a crow stole half the nuts from one of the spots. How many nuts did the crow steal?

for that we have to divide 172 by 6 =28

and the reminder is 4 that means the squirrels ate 4 nuts and rest they spread out evenly on six of their favourite spot where in one spot there were 28 nuts

if a crow steals half of the nuts from one spot that means the cross stole (28÷2)=14 nuts
