A squirrel found a pile of nuts 80m from it's nest. The squirrel moved from it's nest towards the pile of nuts and picked it up. The squirrel with nuts in it's mouth headed back towards the nest for 35m when it saw a cat. Seeing the cat, it dropped the nuts and ran to a tree that was 200m in the opposite direction of the nest. When the cat was gone,the squirrel returned to the spot where it dropped the nuts. Find total distance travelled. Total displacement covered

Hear,

AC=80

BC=35

BD=200

* total distance coverd.=AC+BC+BD

= 80+35+200

=315m

*displacement = AD

AB=35m

BD=200

*total displacement=AB+BD

= 35+200

=235m
