Answer:

40,000= blue in colour

20,000= red in colour

Step-by-step explanation:

80,000/2=40,000

therefore, half of them blue in colour is 40,000

half of them remaining seats are red,

therefore,40,000/2=20,000

hence 20,000 seats are red colour

Given:

A stadium has a total of 80000 seat half of them are blue color Half of the remaining seats are red

To find:

how many. seats are there in blue and red color?

Solution:

It is given that the total number of seats = 80,000 and Half of them are blue

The number of seats in blue color:

=> 80,000 ÷ 2 = 40,000

Remaining seats = 80,000 - 40,000

=> 40,000

It is given that Half of the remaining seats are red:

The number of seats in red color:

=> 40,000÷ 2

=> 20,000

There are 40,000 seats in blue color and 20,000 seats in red color in a stadium.

The number of seats in blue and red color are 40000 + 20000 = 60000 seats.
