a star is made of plasma a it make it glow much brighter. yes it looks like it has brightness.

star is the first stage if black holes . it is made up for mainly hydrogen and helium and other types of gasses. star shines because it burns in own with the help of gasses and it does not use oxygen to burn . once all the hydrogen and helium burns it start shrinking in it own gravity after that black holes are formed...star is not only white in colour it is in yellow, red pink white,blue etc those colors it got by different amount of hydrogen and helium present...............
