B) AN ALLOY OF NICKEL AND CHROMIUM IS USED AS A HEATING ELEMENT BECAUSE IT INCREASES THE ELECTRICAL RESISTANCE AT HIGH TEMPERATURES AS WELL AS IT MAKES THE ALLOY CORROSION RESISTANT IN WATER.
