✨A Stationery charge is placed in a magnetic field . Will it experience a force ? Give reason to justify your answer .
✴ Yes , a stationary charge placed in a magnetic field will experience a force . This is because it is placed in a magnetic field and a current will be induced in it which will provide the force .

(a) No, a magnetic field exerts a force only on moving charges.
(b) The direction of force depends on the direction of current and direction of magnetic field.
(c) The force is maximum when the direction of current is at right angles to the direction of magnetic field.
(d) Fleming's Left Hand Rule. According to this rule - "Stretch the thumb, forefinger and middle finger of your left hand such that they are mutually perpendicular to each other. If the first finger points in the direction of magnetic field and the middle finger in the direction of current, then the thumb will point in the direction of motion or the force acting on the conductor."
hope it helps........
