Change in momentum is calculated by:

ΔP = P (final) - P ( initial)

Here we are given that :

initial velocity (u) = 0

final velocity (v) = 15m/s

weight = 0.5 kg

Therefore,

ΔP = m * v - m * u

ΔP = 0.5 * 15 - 0.5 * 0

ΔP = 7.5 Nm/s Answer
