A statue is being carved by a sculptor. The original piece of
marble weighs 140 kg. On the first week 35% is cut away. On
the second week the sculptor chips off 26 kg and on the third
week he chips off two-fifths of the remainder and he completed
the beautiful statute. Weight of the final statue (in kg) is

initial weight =140kg

1st weak 35% is cut off

35/100×140=49kg

remaining =140-49=91kg

2nd week chips off 26kg

remaining 91-26=65kg

3rd week chips off 2/5

2/5×65=26kg

remaining weight = 65-26=39kg

so final weight of statue (in kg) is 39kg
