A statue was melted down and recast into smaller, similar figures one-tenth of the original height. Given that a small figure is 30 cm tall and weighs 1.8 kg, find

(a) the height of the original statue,                          
(b) the weight of the original statue.​

A)

Height of the original statue=30*10

=300/100

=3 m

B)

Weight of the original statue=1.8*10

=18 kg

Hey mate ,

a) given that height of small figure is one tenth of original statue .

let the heigh of original statue be h

Thus , ATQ

1/10 x = 30

x = 30×10

x = 300 cm = 3 meter

b) Since the original statue was melted and recasted thus the weight , volume remains same .

hence weight of the original statue is 1.8 Kg
