Time taken when it goes downstream =4
Time taken when it goes upstream = 5
Speed of stream = 2km/hr
So speed of streamer when it goes downstream = x+ 2(because sum is considered in downstream)
Speed of streamer when it goes upward = x-2(because difference is considered in upstream)
Distance = 4(x+2)/5(x-2)
Atq
4(x+2) = 5(x-2)
4x +8=5x-10
18 = x
So speed of streamer in still water is 18
