a steel block has mass 40g it is in the form of a cube each edge of the cube is 1.74cm long calculate the density of the steel

Mass - 40g

          = 0.04kg

Volume - 1.74^3

              = 5.27cm^3

              =0.0527m^3

Density = Mass/ Volume

So,

  D= m/v

or, D = 0.04/0.0527

or, D = 0.759kg/m^3

Therfore, the density of the steel block is 0.759kg/m^3
