Answer:

The steel cylinder having capacity V=40 litres and Pressure P=200 atm.

New cylinder having capacity v=400 cc=0.4 litre and pressure p=76 cm of Hg=1 atm.

∴PV=npv

⇒200atm×40litres=n×1atm×0.4litre

⇒n=

0.4

200×40

=200×100=20000

∴ 20000 number of small cylinder will be needed.

Explanation:

The steel cylinder having capacity V=80litres and Pressure P=200 atm.

New cylinder having capacity v=800 ml=0.8 litre and pressure p=76 cm of Hg=1 atm.

∴PV=npv

⇒200atm×80litres=n×1atm×0.8litre

⇒n= 16000/0.8

=2000×100=200000

∴ 200000 number of small cylinder will be needed.
