1. Required length of the fence = perimeter of the rectangular stable.

Where,

Perimeter of the rectangular stable is given by,

= 2(l + b)

= 2(5.2 + 5)

= 2(10.2)

= 20.4m

2. Total cost of fencing = rate of fencing × requires fencing

rate given is 120 per metre

Required fencing = 20.4 metres

So, total cost,

= 120 × 20.4

= ₹2, 448
