At the lowest position Let T be the tension in the wire.

T−mg=mv2r

=mw2r----------(1)

Also Y=T/AΔl/l-----------(2)

T=mw2r+mg

=m(w2r+g)

=3(2π2)2×1.5+10

T=4.5π2+30

From (2)

2×1011=3π2+30π(1×10−3)2Δl/1.5

Solving we get

Δl=7.17×10−3m

Hence b is the correct answer.
