A steel wire of length 2.3m stretched by a load of 5kg, produces an extensionof
0.03x10 m. Calculate the young's modulus of the material. Diameter of the wire is

L=2.3 ; F=mg=5kg*10m/s^2=50N ; ΔL=0.3m ; d=1.5*10^-3 ; r=1.5x10^-3/2

so, Y=(F/A)/(ΔL/L)

= (50*πr^2)/(0.3/2.3)

= 3220/14.85x10^6

= 216.83x10^6

= 2.16x10^8 Pa <-answer
