We have,
- Voltage in primary winding = 2400 v
- Voltage in secondary winding = 1200 v
- No. of turns in primary winding = 400
We know that, the relation between primary and secondary voltage - turn is,
- Ns/Np = Vs/Vp
Put the value from the question,
= Ns/Np = Vs/Vp
= Ns/400 = 1200/2400
= Ns = 1/2 × 400
= Ns = 200
Therefore,the no. of turns in secondary coil are 200.
