This proverb clearly convey/communicate us that It is much easier to repair the damage at an early stage and if we will ignore this minor repair, even a small problem or issue may become too big to resolve.  ‘a stitch in time saves nine’ means that immediate action must be taken to set everything right if anything went wrong. For example, if a piece of cloth is slightly torn from one side and if we ignore that for some time, that may result in widened hole in that cloth and then cloth wil not be of any use. So as per proverb, it must be taken care of in the primary stage because later it will of no use. Now in this hard period of Covid-19, if we will not follow immediately and sincerely the guidelines of Govt. or Doctor for saving our life from this pandemic, it may cause a huge loss to our lives and to the country.
