If 30 soldiers join the camp then the total number of soldiers = 90+30 = 120

Let the no. of days = x

= 90:48::120:x

= Using x1x2 = y1y2

= 90 x 48 = 120x

=  \frac {90×48}{120} = x

= 12×3

= 36

The food will last with same stock for 36 days
