Using the nth second equation for the stone we have
S=u +0.5*a*(2t-1)
Substituting we get the value of t=3 sec.
Using this in s=Ut +0.5*a*t^2
We get s=45m

distance traveled in nth sec is given by...
S (n th) = u + (2n - 1) x a/2
since u = 0, a = g = 10 m/sq sec,. S( nth) = 25 m
so,
25 = 5 x (2n - 1)
=> 2n = 6
=> n = 3...
total time taken to reach the ground = 3 s
height of the tower = 0.5 x g x (t)^2
= 0.5 x 10 x 9
= 45 m ...... answer
