b) Calculate the average speed when the stone is falling down

g=10 m/s^2

t=1 s

v=u+gt

v=10 m/s

h=ut+1/2gt^2

h=1/2*10*1^2

h=5 m

Average speed=Total height/Total time

=5/1 = 5 m/s
